We have done a lot of improvements / projects in our home over the last year. And when I say we I mean mostly Robert. We started off by turning our office into an office/nursery or as we like to call it - the officery. The room had 2 closets so Robert took all of the lower shelves out of this closet.
And turned it in to this:
The rest of the room looks like this:
(Don't mind the mess in these pics. Lucy was sleeping and I didn't want to disturb her.)
After the officery was done we started in on the laundry room. We actually started the laundry room first but we wanted to make sure the nursery was done before Lucy was born so we took a short hiatus.
See I did help some (and yes I'm pregnant here)
These steps took a long time to complete - but it was worth the wait! I love having a laundry room inside, and the shelf space it wonderful too!
In more recent news Robert has been working hard in the back yard. He added a bunch of shelves to our storage space in the garage and also added a door leading into the backyard. He extended the porch out a little bit so he has a nice workspace behind the garage now. We got rid of all of the trash in the yard and used the rototiller to make it all nice and level. Robert is now working on installing sprinklers. I wish I had a before and after picture of the yard because it looks like a whole new yard! Just to paint you a picture: Before we started working on the yard we had things back there including (but not limited to) a couch, a toilet, a water heater, an ac unit, some closet doors, lots of scrap metal, a sink, some granite, etc. Now it is empty (besides a few things on the porch). It looks really good, and I can't wait until we are able to plant some grass!

Don't you just love projects that make the home nicer? Can't wait to see you and the finished backyard in a month!
I am a little disappointed that you don't have a photo of the "including but not limited to...". Dang.
