Sledgehammer Fun

About a week ago Robert went over to his sister's new house to break down a wall so the garage could actually be used as a garage. Here he is hard at work:

I got bored with watching so I thought I would give it a try too:

Before

After
There is no "after" picture for this one, but the explosion was awesome.

This is with only the bottom row and clean up left to do.

I ended up breaking down quite a bit of the wall, and had a ton of fun doing it!

Christmas Time is Here

December has been great so far! We got all of my parents old lights for the house, so we spent the day after Thanksgiving putting those up. I wanted to post a picture but unfortunately I kept putting it off, and now some of our lights don't work cause we blew a fuse. So hopefully sometime before Christmas we will get it fixed and be able to post a picture. Meanwhile here is our tree. (Which we also got from my parents - it was lucky for us that they decided to get all new stuff this year)

I had my Christmas baking day on Friday and made fudge, peanut butter rice krispy treats, and no bake cookies. I didn't actually use my oven at all, so I don't know if I can really call it "baking" but I don't really know what else it would be so.... I was so glad that my fudge turned out perfect this year! I had some trouble with it last year. Robert sampled all of it and told me that I was going to make him get fat. I guess that means he liked it all :)

We have been having a lot of fun going to different family parties and are looking forward to a couple more this week. I love this time of year and how people try extra hard to get to know one another and be nice! Hope everyone is doing well and not getting too stressed out!

Hopefully I will be updating soon with news about the baby's gender!!

Best husband ever

We had family temple night last Saturday, but I was not feeling well so I didn't go. Robert went without me, but due to extenuating circumstances didn't end up actually going. Instead he came back with these:

I have the sweetest husband ever!

New Stove

Robert came home from work the other day and said that he had a present for me. Uncle Dan was bringing it over because he had more room in his truck - so while we were waiting I tried to guess. But I was surprised when I saw this:

A pretty, new (used) flat stove. I've only cooked a few things in it so far, but I'm loving it!

Sorry no Pictures...

I've been putting off posting because I don't have any new pictures to share, but even I got tired of looking at my old posts so there ya go...

The pregnancy is going well I guess. I mean it is going well, but I'm sure not enjoying it much these days. Oh and for those you who didn't know... I'm pregnant!! I'm about 10 weeks along and am due May 29th. Me and Robert are both super excited and I'm especially excited for the second trimester to start - because hopefully I will stop feeling so sick.

Robert is finishing up the house he and his brother have been working on and should be getting it on the market by the end of the week.

Hope everyone had a fun Halloween! And Happy November!

Table

A little bit after we got married we were talking to my Grandpa Fife and we happened to mention that we didn't have a kitchen table. Grandpa then offered to help Robert make a table out of some African Mahogany wood that he had.

The first day Robert worked on it he cut out the feet and sanded them:
The next time we went over to their house the table looked like this:

Robert missed several weekends in a row of working on the table due to other commitments. Grandpa however, worked on it a little bit each day and finished the whole thing by himself. Thanks so much Grandpa, the table is beautiful!!

And they lived happily ever after...

Figured I'd just start this blog at the beginning. We were married for time and eternity in the Mesa, AZ temple on June 12, 2010.

Introducing for the first time Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jarman

Luckily it was actually a nice day outside, so we were able to take some family pics.

Me and my niece
The whole family

The luncheon following the wedding ceremony

That night at the reception...

The awesome fruit fall

The amazing cake

The traditional cutting of the cake
(my favorite part of this pic is Joseph watching us so intently)

Thanks so much to everyone who came and/or helped out and made it such a special day!
