2 month stats

Lucy had her 2 month appointment on June 7th. She has grown so much these past 2 months it's crazy!

Here are some pics of her at around 2 months:

Weight: 11 lbs 3 oz - 41st percentile
Height: 23 inches - 55th percentile
Head circumference: 36 cm - <3rd percentile

Weight: 5 lbs 11 oz - 5th percentile
Height: 19 inches - 33rd percentile

It's so much fun being able to watch Lucy grow and change so much. She recognizes me and Robert more and more and has started talking back to us! I also love her big beautiful smiles!

4th of July

It was Lucy's first Independence day! To celebrate the Jarman's decided to go camping. We weren't quite up to spending the night so Saturday morning we made the 2 1/2 hour drive up to the Forest Lakes area. Lucy was great and slept the whole way!

Once there we:

played with cousins...

played cards...

relaxed...

went to the lake...

and skipped rocks.

About mid-afternoon we all piled into cars and drove about another hour till we got to Taylor. Once there we went to a park and hung out / played games (frisbee, soccer, etc.) until the fireworks started.

It was a great show!

...although Lucy was just about to fall asleep when it started and was not so happy about it waking her up. Other than that though we all had a great time! We drove home again after the fireworks making it a very long day - but well worth the trip. We celebrated more on the 4th by having dinner with family and setting off our own fireworks outside Robert's brother's house. I didn't have my camera with me so no pics, but it was a lot of fun and all the kids loved it!
